Endpoint has worked closely with the City of Cudahy and Bear Development for the redevelopment of a closed leaking underground storage tank (LUST) site with residual soil and groundwater contamination.  The property is being redeveloped into a mixed used commercial and residential development with 4,000 square feet of street level retail on Layton Avenue and 57 residential units.  (Check out the progress on this time-lapse web cam:  http://oxblue.com/open/cudahy/laytonsquare).
The Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) provided low-income housing tax credits (LIHTC) and the City of Cudahy assisted with tax incremental financing (TIF) for the development.  Endpoint  initially worked as a liaison between the City of Cudahy and Bear Development to provide the pre-acquisition information necessary to satisfy the needs of both parties.   Specific tasks completed by Endpoint included: Phase I Environmental Site Assessment; Phase II Environmental Assessment; Geotechnical Investigation; preparation of a Post-Closure Modification request, including a soil management plan, a water management plan, a soil vapor mitigation plan and a new barrier plan.  For more information on Endpoint's role on the project, contact Bob Cigale at 414-858-1202 or bob@endpointcorporation.com
